Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Hygiene Operative/Cleaner to join our team on-site. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards across facilities to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Shifts vary; typical hours are early morning. Pay is £12.71 per hour (excl. holiday pay) or £14.24 per hour (with holiday pay), with weekly payment options available.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment to ensure optimal hygiene standards are met
• Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing attention and report any issues promptly
• Proven experience using cleaning equipment in a commercial or food production environment is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
