Job summary

Hargreaves Industrial Services is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to support operations across its Enfinium and Yorkshire Water contracts. The role involves cleaning, site maintenance, and adherence to Health & Safety guidelines at the Skelton Grange Energy from Waste Plant and Yorkshire Water sites.

Flexibility to travel between sites is essential, with overtime possibly required. A proactive, safety-focused mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team will be valued.

A vacancy has arisen for an Industrial Cleaner to join our team predominately within our Enfinium contract but will also require secondary work across our Yorkshire Water contract.

The role is required to support the operational services by carrying out various duties including, cleaning as well as general site activities at the Skelton Grange Energy from Waste Plant and Yorkshire Water sites

Flexibility is key within this role as there will be a requirement to travel between sites.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -

Assisting in areas of industrial cleaning to a high standard

Ensure conveyors are kept clean & free from risks and hazards

Maintain high levels of cleaning on floors & walkways.

Update supervisor on the condition of work area and report any incidents or potential hazards to supervisor immediately.

General cleaning of the tipping hall.

Have a good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace

Understanding of Safe Working Procedures.

Support the daily operational activities of the energy from waste plant.

Provide assistance in the field when and where needed.

Required to support secondary roles within the operation.

• Qualified & competent to operate forklift truck to NPORS level. (Advantage)
