Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial services operations to a high standard.
• General site cleaning, repairs & maintenance.
• Scheduled plant cleaning, repairs & maintenance during shutdowns.
• Pollution control and spill response.
• High pressure water jetting.
• Cold cutting using hydro-cutting equipment (full training given).
• Confined space operations, such as tank or sewer cleaning with breathing apparatus; rescue team duties (full training given).
• Ensure customers are treated with courtesy at all times.
• Comply with customer safety and security instructions; work on own initiative.

An exciting temp to permanent opportunity to join this national industrial service company based in Hull. Immediate start for the right candidates with ongoing training to grow your skills.

This is a varied role from general site cleaning, working in confined spaces, tank cleaning with full breathing apparatus. You will operate in support of a variety of industries from cement works, oil refinery, sewage treatment plants or a Royal Navy vessel.

Flexibility is needed as there will be a requirement to travel and to work extra hours to complete a job on schedule. There will be a requirement to pass security clearance to gain entry to certain work sites.

Main Duties

• Carry out industrial services operations to a high standard in accordance with training
• General site cleaning, repairs & maintenance.
• Scheduled plant cleaning, repairs & maintenance cleaning during shutdowns .
• Pollution control and spill response .
• High pressure water jetting
• Cold cutting using specialist hydro-cutting equipment (full training given).
• Confined space operations, such as tank or sewer cleaning, which may involve the use of breathing apparatus. Rescue team duties (full training given).
• Ensure customers are treated with courtesy at all times.
• Comply with customer safety and security instructions at all times. To work under own initiative.
