Job summary

Apex Resource Management Ltd is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for a busy manufacturing facility near Banbury. This role focuses on keeping workshop, offices, canteens and washrooms clean to support production and safety standards.

You will operate cleaning equipment, sweep, mop, dust, and restock consumables, working Monday to Friday day shifts with an emphasis on high hygiene and teamwork. A reliable, self-motivated candidate with own transport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial floor cleaning equipment.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Dust and wipe down workstations and communal areas.
• Clean windows and internal surfaces.
• Empty bins and replenish consumables.
• Maintain high hygiene standards throughout the facility.
• Support general housekeeping activities as required.
• Complete additional tasks as instructed by the Facilities Manager.

We're recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing facility near Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a clean, modern environment as part of a friendly and supportive team where maintaining high standards is a key part of the operation.

You'll play an important role in ensuring the site remains clean, safe and organised, helping to support production by maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the facility.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Industrial Cleaner, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across a variety of areas, including:

• Workshop and production areas
• Offices and reception
• Staff canteens and break rooms
• Washrooms and welfare facilities
• Internal walkways and communal areas

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Operating industrial floor cleaning equipment
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping down workstations and communal areas
• Cleaning windows and internal glass surfaces
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
• Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the facility
• Supporting general housekeeping activities as required
• Completing additional cleaning tasks instructed by the Facilities Manager

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in an industrial or commercial cleaning role
• Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment (desirable)
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
• Your own transport due to site location
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and a positive attitude
• Pride in delivering a clean and safe working environment
