Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for a permanent, part-time role at our Birstall site. The position covers Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am to 12:00pm (10 hours per week) with a rate of pay of £15.00 per hour.

In this hands-on role, you will clean factory and production areas, perform high-level and specialist cleaning tasks, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards in a busy food production environment. A reliable and hardworking attitude is essential.

• Focus on health and safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial, factory and high-level cleaning to required hygiene standards.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks while minimising disruption to production.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults, hazards or maintenance issues.
• Follow all Sodexo and site Health & Safety, hygiene and security procedures.
• Support additional and emergency cleaning requirements when needed.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking

Industrial Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at our

site in Birstall

.

Working within a busy food production environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the site. This will include cleaning factory and production areas, as well as carrying out high-level and specialist cleaning tasks.

This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, a strong approach to health and safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities
