Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences in the United Kingdom invites a proactive Chemistry student for a 12-month placement starting August 2027 to develop inkjet formulations in industrial R&D. You will work with experienced scientists, contributing to real-world projects and gaining hands-on laboratory experience in a global company.

You will build technical and professional skills, learn formulation methods, data analysis, and reporting while operating in a supportive, safety-conscious laboratory

Qualifications

• Studies toward degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory practice and chemical handling.
• Strong theoretical understanding of chemistry.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a team of scientists on formulation, testing, and experimental work using established test methods.
• Applying scientific rigor to compile, analyse, and interpret experimental data.
• Preparing clear reports and presenting findings at team meetings.
• Providing day-to-day support to the laboratory team.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and well-kept laboratory environment.
• Following company health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
