Morson are recruiting for Industrial Blaster/Sprayers for work in Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth. This is a great opportunity to work on critical infrastructure within one of the UK's major naval dockyards. Join a skilled, experienced team where safety, precision, and quality are key. You will be involved in delivering anti‑corrosion protection to ferrous and nonferrous surfaces. This includes mechanical preparation, abrasive blast cleaning (open and closed loop), and applying a variety of protective coating systems such as one‑pack and two‑pack epoxies.
Successful candidates must be eligible to undergo BPSS and SC clearance to work at the dockyard (Support will be provided through the application process).
When Blasting: Basic: £22.00, OT1: £28.60, OT2: £35.20 (Blasting work makes up most duties.)
When Painting: Basic: £18.00, OT1: £23.40, OT2: £28.80 (Painting will be ad hoc depending on work programmes.)
Taxable lodge allowance for travelling workers: £50.65 per day
21 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays
38‑hour basic week, with overtime available (Weekend and overtime work may be required based on business needs).
