Job summary
Rockwell Automation is seeking a Support Engineer to deliver technical support, maintenance and emergency response for automation and safety systems. You will travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally, performing servicing, commissioning and problem resolution on Rockwell and third‑party control systems.
You will attend sites onshore and offshore, provide out‑of‑hours support, and prepare site visit reports and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience supporting industrial control and safety systems within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, or related process industries.
- A valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response services for customer automation and safety systems.
- Attend customer sites, both onshore and offshore, to perform health care visits, product servicing, installation, commissioning, and support activities.
- Deliver out-of-hours support for customers in the UK and worldwide as part of a support rota.
- Prepare technical documentation including site visit reports, method statements, risk assessments, and provide follow-up support through to issue resolution and closeout.
- Regular travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally.
