Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Software Project Engineer to accelerate development on real industrial automation projects. You’ll be mentored and progress from quotations and specifications through to commissioning and handover, with hybrid working after induction.

The role focuses on translating user requirements into functional specs and developing PLC/HMI/SCADA software for UK customer sites, with scope for progression into project management.

Qualifications

Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA exposure.
Controls experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of industrial automation projects from quotation through to commissioning.
Develop/modify PLC, HMI and SCADA software (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens).
Produce project documentation including FDS and RAMS.
Assist with control architecture, networks and on-site fault-finding/commissioning.
Work with hybrid office/home/site-based delivery after induction.
