Job summary

Multipanel UK LTD is seeking an Automation & Electrical Engineer to program, integrate and maintain industrial automation across our production environment, including PLCs, robotics and IoT infrastructure.

You will design and commission control systems on the factory floor in the UK and USA, work with international suppliers, and push data integration and smart manufacturing initiatives to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Experience upgrading legacy equipment to modern systems.
• Interest in data integration and smart manufacturing.
• Willingness to work with international suppliers and on-site UK/USA deployments.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission Siemens S7 PLCs and HMIs, and optimise control logic.
• Retrofit legacy machinery with modern PLCs and update electrical architectures.
• Integrate sensors, robotics and MES/IoT platforms; enable data collection and monitoring.
