Stonegate CoE Primary School is seeking a self-motivated, calm and caring person to support high needs, vulnerable and EHCP pupils to engage with learning across their targets and the year group curriculum. You will work alongside and support the class teacher and SENCO to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the pupils you are supporting.
Experience with neurodiversity needs and hearing impairment would be advantageous; training can be provided.
Hours of work: 17 hours per week, Fridays required 6.5 hours (08:45-15:15) including lunch break and an additional 10.5 hours across the week to be negotiated.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39weeks per year plus 6.05weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Stonegate are looking to appoint a self-motivated, calm and caring person who is able to support high needs, vulnerable and EHCP pupils to engage with learning across their individual targets and the year group curriculum. Experience working with pupils with neurodiversity needs, hearing impairment and delivering OT and SALT programmes would be an advantage but training can be provided.
Alongside all our support staff, you should have a passion for learning, be highly motivated, work well as part of a small team and be committed to engaging with pupils in a positive, patient, calm and caring way. You will be working alongside and supporting the class teacher and SENCO to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the pupils you are supporting. You will have high expectations of the students within your care, manage behaviour effectively and ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
A current First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Certificate would be beneficial but not essential.
