The position is office-based 4 days a week, ensuring close collaboration with business stakeholders.

Job description

The manager will be:

• a point of contact for the business for the VAT implications on transactions and projects, both Front Office team and other business stakeholders
• review the VAT compliance for the business
• review of VAT accounting and account clearing and reconciliations

The ideal candidate will have experience:

• working in the oil, gas, energy or commodity industry
• providing technical indirect tax advice to business stakeholders and non-tax colleagues.
• cross border trading and working in an international indirect tax team
• Partial exemption experience
• Have strong knowledge and experience of indirect tax legislation and policies

Please note, this role is based in the office 4 days per week.
