Job summary

Giacom, a leading UK technology platform, seeks an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead IT, HR and professional services categories.

You will build sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts and drive value through spend optimisation while partnering with Technology, Operations and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• MCIPS qualification or working towards
• Experience in indirect procurement and category management
• Proven track record delivering commercial value and cost savings
• Strong negotiation, supplier and contract management skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with governance and compliance processes
• Experience with procurement/finance systems; NetSuite advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect procurement activity across categories including IT, HR and Professional Services.
• Develop sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings and improve supplier value.
• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and improvement.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate onboarding, due diligence and risk assessments to ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide procurement expertise and guidance.
• Maintain procurement data and reporting while identifying process improvements.

We're looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team within Commercial Finance on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing strategic supplier relationships, delivering commercial value, and supporting business growth across a fast-paced and evolving organisation.

You’ll work with stakeholders across Technology, Networks, Operations, Finance, Legal, Security and Commercial teams, helping to ensure our procurement activities deliver value for money, reduce risk, and support Giacom's strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead indirect procurement activity across categories including IT, HR and Professional Services.

• Develop sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, improve supplier value and support business objectives.

• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle.

• Coordinate supplier onboarding, due diligence and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide procurement expertise and commercial guidance.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data and reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Your Experience

• MCIPS qualified or working towards qualification.

• Proven experience in indirect procurement and category management.

• Strong track record of delivering commercial value, cost savings and spend optimisation initiatives.

• Excellent negotiation, supplier management and contract management skills.

• Ability to build credible relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Confident communicator with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.

• Experience of supplier governance, risk management and compliance processes.

• Experience of procurement or finance systems, ideally NetSuite, would be advantageous.
