Job summary

Partnering Health Limited Group is seeking an experienced Initial Assessment Clinician to join our UTC team. You will perform initial assessments, triage, take patient history, conduct examinations, and formulate differential diagnoses and management plans in a fast-paced environment.

You will work autonomously under professional boundaries, ensuring patient safety, safeguarding, and timely referrals to emergency services when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessment for undifferentiated patients with a range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as varying degrees of injuries.
• Take a patient history, perform appropriate physical examinations, formulate differential diagnoses and management plans within UTC practice.
• Recognise the need for and initiate emergency treatment to save life or refer to emergency services when appropriate.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and act to safeguard the patient.
• Be professionally and legally responsible for all clinical decision making within your competence.
• Maintain a person-centred approach to service delivery and develop clinical knowledge and professional development requirements.
