Job summary

Credo Care Ltd is seeking independent, self-employed Independent Social Workers to conduct Form F assessments for prospective foster carers in Doncaster and to supervise newly approved carers. A social work qualification and SW England registration are essential.

You must be willing to travel, have access to a car, and be able to work occasional evenings or weekends. Posts are subject to enhanced DBS, two references, and current registration.

Qualifications

• Social work qualification and SW England registration.
• Experience with children in care and fostering.
• Knowledge of the Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services.
• Experience undertaking Form F assessments.
• Willingness to travel and access to own transport (driving licence).

Responsibilities

• Undertake Form F assessments for prospective foster carers.
• Provide supervision to newly approved foster carers in Doncaster area.
• Travel to assessors' and carers' locations; availability to work evenings/weekends if required.

£2,000 per assessment, plus mileage expenses

Credo Care Fostering was established in 2000 as the UK’s first Independent Fostering Agency, specialising in the care of children with complex medical needs and physical and learning disabilities. Due to continued success and growth, we are seeking independent, self-employed ISWs to undertake Form F assessments for prospective foster carers as well as the supervision of newly approved foster carers in the above area.

You

With a social work qualification and Social Work England registration, you must have post qualifying work experience of working with children in care and fostering. Knowledge of the Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services is essential. You will have experience of undertaking Form F assessments, be an excellent communicator, have good time management and IT skills with flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required. In addition, you will hold a full UK driving licence, your own transport and be willing to travel.

The Role

Posts are subject to enhanced DBS, two satisfactory references and current registration with the appropriate professional body. You must have right to live and work in the UK.
