Job summary

XLVets Preston is seeking a dedicated small animal veterinary surgeon to join our proudly independent practice in Preston, Lancashire. This role offers a mix of routine and emergency medical and surgical cases, with no out-of-hours, and a 1 in 16 weekend rota.

We tailor the role around you and support ongoing development with one-to-one surgical guidance and varied CPD. You’ll join a team of experienced vets and RVNs, with access to diagnostics, ultrasound, dental X-ray, endoscope, and regular

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in small animal practice.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and proactive.
• Willing to work full time or part time, with flexibility around rota.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse caseload of routine and emergency medical and surgical cases.
• Work up cases to high clinical standards in-house.
• Collaborate with a team of vets and RVNs and participate in CPD.
