Job summary

Medmatch in the Preston area is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-regarded, community-loved practice offering a mix of consultations and surgeries.

You will work a four-day week with no out-of-hours shifts and a 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends rota, in a modern hospital with on-site laparoscopy, ultrasound, and digital X-ray facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in UK small animal practice.
• Confident, proactive vet with strong clinical variety.
• Ability to work independently with autonomy encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Handle a mix of consults and surgeries.
• Provide high-quality patient care and client communication.
• Collaborate with a skilled team in a forward-thinking practice.

About the Position:

• Full-Time role available – 4 days per week
