Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Mount Road Vets near Manchester, offering 40 hours per week with no weekend work.

You will perform nursing care, nurse appointments, admissions/discharges, and maintain records, with support from a dedicated VCA team. This role suits an RVN confident working independently with ownership of nursing responsibilities while collaborating with vets.

Qualifications

• Registration with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Run nurse appointments and support preventative healthcare.
• Support patient admissions and discharges, ensuring accurate communication and records.
• Administer treatments as directed, including injections, medications, fluid therapy and dressings.
