Job summary

Lemon Drizzle Recruitment is partnering with a regional contractor in the North East to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for fire stopping projects. Based in Durham with site visits, you’ll take sole commercial responsibility and manage variances, payments, and cost control.

The role requires autonomy, strong numerical/analytical skills, and a qualification in Quantity Surveying. Experience in passive fire or fire doors is advantageous, driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Commercially aware and autonomous, capable of client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for fire stopping projects.
• Visit sites across the North East to measure and verify completed works.
• Price variations and prepare/pay applications.
• Monitor costs, valuations, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Produce commercial reports and CVRs as required.
• Liaise with clients, site managers and delivery team.
