Job summary

Spilsby Surgery is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. The ANP will see a broad range of patients, assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe independently, while collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals.

You will have dedicated clinical discussion time, MDT meetings, and opportunities to influence care areas that matter to you within a rural dispensing practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Advanced Clinical Practice qualification or equivalent.
• Independent Prescribing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients.
• Take comprehensive clinical histories and perform appropriate examinations.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a range of acute and ongoing health conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and refer for investigations or follow-up as needed.
• Prescribe medications independently and coordinate medicines management.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits and shared learning.
