Job summary

Waythrough in Sheffield is seeking an Independent Prescriber to join our healthcare team. The role requires autonomously assessing, diagnosing and managing patient care within a multidisciplinary setting.

You’ll work 37 hours with some alternate Thursdays and one Saturday morning, and the salary ranges from £44,789 to £54,384, reflecting experience and progression within the band. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Independent Prescriber qualification required.
• RCGP Qualifications Level 1 (and 2 or willingness to work towards).
• Experience of working within substance misuse desirable.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assess, diagnose and manage patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments in substance misuse.
• Work within a MDT model and contribute to high standards of care.
