Turning Point UK in Leicestershire and Rutland is seeking a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our busy community drug and alcohol service. You will work within a large multidisciplinary team, delivering personalised prescribing plans and care to individuals with substance use issues. The role involves opiate substitution treatment, detox, and clinical interventions, with travel between clinics across the region.

Qualificações

• Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacy Prescriber required.
• Excellent communication, empathy and patience essential.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide opiate substitution treatment and detoxifications.
• Deliver relapse prevention medications and related care.
• Conduct basic clinical interventions (wound care, ECGs, venous blood sampling, vaccinations).
• Collaborate with external agencies to coordinate support for individuals.
