Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Maidstone is recruiting Postal Delivery Drivers on a temporary basis. The role starts toward the end of October and pays £13.69 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and weekend availability.

You will begin at the local delivery office sorting mail, use a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, and deliver letters and parcels by foot or vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift and carry mail bags and parcels up to specified weights.
