Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting a Parcels Collection & Delivery Driver to Swansea for local parcel collections and deliveries. The role involves daily vehicle checks, route planning on a handheld PDA, and delivering to homes and businesses from Unit A, Milstream Way, Central Business Park, Swansea SA7 0AQ.

This temporary position offers weekly pay, a reliable schedule (Mon, Wed–Sat 09:00–17:00) and the opportunity to work with a well-known brand while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Previous experience or confidence driving long-wheelbase vans
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
• Positive, reliable and self-motivated approach to work

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks
• Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business customers
• Provide a professional, friendly and dependable service
• Sort and organise parcels before delivery route
• Follow planned routes using a handheld PDA device
• Safely lift, move and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg
