Job summary

Cromwell House is a new residential detoxification service delivered through a partnership between With You and Recovery Connections, providing a safe, supportive environment for people undertaking alcohol and opioid detoxification. We are looking for an experienced Independent Nurse Prescriber to join the team and play a key role in establishing and delivering this innovative service.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) and prescribing experience.
Experience of clinical assessment, risk stratification and medicines management.
Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek senior clinical advice.

Responsibilities

Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and contribute to decisions about detoxification suitability.
Independently prescribe and clinically manage detoxification medications within your scope.
Monitor withdrawal symptoms and response to treatment.
Review and adjust treatment plans and escalate concerns as needed.
Provide clinical advice and support to the residential team and GP services.
Ensure medicines are prescribed, administered and monitored safely.
Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and risk management.
Contribute to clinical audit and service development at Cromwell House.
