Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a practical Multi Skilled Operative to support Garats Hay and the surrounding Defence estate. You will perform planned maintenance, react to issues as needed, and undertake small works with a hands-on approach.

The role offers independence, a day-to-day schedule managed by you, and regular customer-facing contact as the on-site face of VIVO. A joinery background is useful, and training is provided where required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on trades/handyperson experience
• Flexible to carry out a range of maintenance tasks
• Training provided for specific applications/systems
• City & Guilds or BTEC qualification advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver predominantly planned maintenance with occasional reactive tasks
• Carry out small works to a high standard
• Schedule your own tasks and manage workload with independence
• Provide safe, professional customer-facing support on-site
• Operate across Garats Hay and a nearby site with a mobile work setup
