The British Red Cross Society in Dundee is seeking a compassionate visiting support worker to assess needs and tailor home-based care plans for people living independently. You will support daily living activities and work closely with health and social care professionals to ensure seamless, person-centred care.

The role requires strong communication, empathy and flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, with a focus on helping individuals regain independence and confidence in their own homes.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Visiting service users in their homes to assess needs and create tailored support plans.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Liaise with health, housing and social care professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Carry out welfare checks and help individuals rebuild their independence.
