Job summary

New Ark Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals achieve greater independence and participate in daily living activities across the community.

You will provide person-centred support, accompany people to appointments, assist with personal care where required, and promote dignity, choice and inclusion at all times. Training will be provided, and you’ll work as part of a supportive team.

• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Encouraging and supporting people to participate in meaningful activities and hobbies.
• Supporting individuals with community access, shopping, appointments, and social activities.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Administering medication following training and company procedures.
• Supporting with meal planning, cooking, household tasks, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Assisting individuals to attend medical and healthcare appointments.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion at all times.
• Maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
