Job summary

Ferguson Dean, a leading national Chartered financial planning firm, is seeking an Adviser in Wigan to take over a growing client portfolio. You will work with clients in the £250k to £1m space primarily across Merseyside and Greater Manchester, sharing expertise with the retiring MD to ensure a smooth transition.

You will apply cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning to meet client needs, including IHT, VCT, EIS, and SIPP/SSAS schemes, while maintaining compliant client files and

Qualifications

• Experience in cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning.
• Experience handling complex matters such as IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
• Ability to maintain up-to-date, compliant client files with support from a technical team.
• Proactive CPD and keeping skills current.
• Track record of managing a client portfolio and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
• Take over the client portfolio from retiring MD.
• Utilise cash flow modelling and lifestyle planning as required.
• Understand client needs and manage complex matters (IHT, VCT, EIS, SIPP/SSAS).
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant client files with the technical team.
• Maintain CPD and stay compliant.
• Seek out new client opportunities as required.

A leading national Chartered financial planning firm are looking for an Adviser to join them to take over a client portfolio in Wigan. They have purchased a practice in the town and are looking for an Adviser to take over the portfolio from the retiring MD. Working with clients broadly in the £250k to £1m space, clients are primarily in the Merseyside and Greater Manchester region.

Role will include:

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
• Working with the retiring adviser on their client portfolio.
• Using cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning as required.
• Understanding a client's needs and having proficiency in more complex matters, especially IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
• Maintaining up to date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
• Keeping up to date CPD
• Actively seeking out new client opportunities as required
