Job summary

IDEX Consulting is recruiting an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join our wealth management team in Grantham or Newark. You will manage an existing client portfolio and deliver holistic financial advice across investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning.

You will work alongside colleagues to generate new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and delivering an outstanding level of service to clients. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma level qualification in financial planning (or equivalent).
• Current SPS (Statement of Professional Standing).
• Strong knowledge of investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience providing regulated financial advice within the UK.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, client-focused approach with high professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing financial planning and wealth management services to existing clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Work alongside colleagues to develop new financial services opportunities.
• Review client portfolios in line with ongoing service arrangements.
• Conduct detailed client meetings to identify financial objectives and recommend suitable solutions.
• Research the market and provide tailored advice across investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning.
• Maintain accurate records using the firm’s case management system.
• Ensure all advice is delivered in line with FCA regulations and internal policies.
• Work closely with Compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Always act in the best interests of clients while delivering an outstanding level of service.
• Promote the firm’s reputation through professionalism and excellent client care.
