Job summary

Pearson invites applications for an Independent End-Point Assessor (Health) Level 5. The role may be conducted onsite in Greater London or remotely, with dates agreed with employers and providers.

You will assess apprentices against standardized criteria and maintain high-quality EPA records and CPD. Key requirements include recent occupation-level experience (Level 5), ongoing CPD, and holding a current DBS and NMC PIN.

Qualifications

• Have recent relevant experience at occupational level 5 or higher.
• Maintain ongoing CPD to align with KSBs of the Assessment Plan.
• Hold a valid and current DBS and NMC Pin number.
• Relevant occupational experience within hospitals, clinics, or community settings.
• Be willing to travel to employer locations for face-to-face assessments and attend on-site events.

Responsibilities

• Participate in regular training and standardisation activities for this EPA role.
• Maintain and provide evidence of CPD.
• Assess candidates according to published criteria ensuring standards are met.
• Follow Pearson specifications, materials and QA protocols for EPAs.
• Travel as needed for EPA planning and assessments.
