Pearson is seeking an Independent End-Point Assessor for the Learning and Skills Teacher (Level 5) role covering the South East region. The job involves undertakings onsite or remote EPA activities, with dates agreed with employers, and requires independence from training providers.

The candidate will participate in training, standardisation, CPD, and will assess apprentices to published standards, providing auditable outcomes and timely reporting.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years current and continuous experience in teaching, assessing and internal quality assurance in Education and Training.
• Qualified with a relevant qualification at or above the level they are assessing (e.g., PGCE, Certificate in Education).
• Willing to travel to employer locations for face-to-face practical assessments.
• Hold a minimum Basic DBS certificate that is registered for the update service.

• Participate in regular training and standardisation activities for EPA role.
• Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing CPD relevant to EPA work.
• Assess candidates according to published criteria and procedures, ensuring standards are met.
• Follow Pearson specifications, materials and QA protocols for EPAs.
• Maintain SLAs for EPA planning, operations, reports and submissions of outcomes.
• Report risks and issues encountered during EPA processes to Pearson.
• Ensure EPA reports and evidence are high quality and properly recorded.
• Support apprentices with appeals related to assessment decisions.
