Job summary

Auger is hiring an experienced Subsidence & Drainage Investigation Engineer to cover Leeds and surrounding areas. You will be trained to conduct subsidence and drainage investigations, with a total package of £36,412 – £42,122 excluding overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in subsidence investigations is preferred.
• Ability to identify buried services using CAT scanners.
• Experience reinstating domestic surfaces (paving, block paving, tarmac, concrete).
• Ability to complete small repairs (gullies, rest bends, shallow pipework).
• Prior experience of completing trial holes.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate drainage systems and recommend repairs.
• Learn and carry out subsidence investigations and collect evidence.
• Log ownership and cause of customer issues.
• Explain works clearly to customers for peace of mind.
• Complete trial holes to locate foundations and collect samples.
• Coordinate with the Field Operations Team at HQ.
• Collaborate with other engineers in the team.
