Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is seeking a Freelance Compliance Consultant to provide independent support to health and social care providers, delivering mock CQC inspections, quality audits, and improvement-focused consultancy on a self-employed basis.

You will review documentation, observe practices, interview stakeholders, and produce evidence-based reports with actionable recommendations, while managing your own workload and invoicing on a project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in health or social care leadership, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience conducting mock inspections or regulatory audits aligned to CQC frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate evidence, identify risks and provide practical, improvement-focused recommendations.
• Ability to produce comprehensive, evidence-based reports using structured formats (e.g., Delphi reporting template).

Responsibilities

• Carry out mock CQC inspections across regulatory domains.
• Review policies, procedures, care plans, and compliance documentation.
• Observe care practice and interview staff, managers, and service users.
• Produce clear, structured, evidence-based reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Support services to develop and implement action plans.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory expectations and best practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CQC frameworks and sector developments.
• Manage your own workload and administrative responsibilities as an independent consultant.
• Represent Delphi Care Solutions professionally when working with clients.
