Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a Freelance Compliance Consultant to provide independent, specialist support to health and social care providers. You will deliver mock CQC inspections, quality audits, and improvement-focused consultancy as a sub-contractor.

This self-employed role offers flexibility to work across various care settings, with responsibility for reports, action plans, and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in health or social care leadership, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience conducting mock inspections or regulatory audits aligned to CQC frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate evidence, identify risks, and provide practical, improvement-focused recommendations.
• Strong capability in producing comprehensive, evidence-based reports using structured formats.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mock CQC inspections across all regulatory domains.
• Review policies, procedures, care plans, and compliance documentation.
• Observe care practice and interview staff, managers, and service users.
• Produce clear, structured, evidence-based reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Support services to develop and implement action plans.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory expectations and best practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CQC frameworks and sector developments.
• Manage workload, schedule, and administrative responsibilities as an independent consultant.
• Represent Delphi Care Solutions professionally when working with clients.
