Job summary

D4PS Couriers & Logistics LTD is hiring for a full-time, on-site self-employed courier driver in Carlisle. You will collect parcels from local depots and client locations, plan routes, and ensure timely, secure deliveries to homes and businesses.

You will communicate with dispatch, use handheld devices for confirmations, and manage your own schedule under agreed hours. Applicants should hold a valid UK driving licence, have access to a reliable vehicle, and carry appropriate business insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and clear communication with clients and recipients.
• Experience or understanding of logistics management, route planning and safe driving.
• Willingness to undertake training related to courier operations, safety, and use of delivery tech.
• Background in food & beverage or similar fast-paced service environment is beneficial.
• Valid UK driving licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and suitable business insurance.
• Good knowledge of Carlisle and surrounding areas or strong navigation using maps and GPS.
• Ability to handle parcels safely, work independently, and meet daily delivery targets.
• Right to work in the UK and compliance with transport regulations.

Responsibilities
