Job summary

Royal Mail in Carlisle is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a permanent contract. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, deliver by van and on foot in your local area, and build relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weathers.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, physical fitness, and reliability. You will rotate shifts across 6 days, with overtime available and a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for long walking and lifting 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation
