PwC UK is seeking a Manager in the Independence team to guide practice groups on independence requirements and navigate regulatory changes. The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic thinking, and precise execution across multiple engagement teams.

You will influence senior leaders, manage independence processes, mentor juniors, and support tenders with transitional independence considerations. A strong communicator and collaborative leader will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising practice teams on independence requirements - helping them navigate regulations and structure services effectively.
• Managing key independence processes ensuring seamless operational efficiency
• Coaching junior team members - enhancing their knowledge, problem-solving abilities and soft skills
• Working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across the firm and network
• Supporting audit tenders and major transitions, advising on independence considerations during client rotations.
• Collaborating with engagement teams across the firm, guiding them on non-audit services and technology tool permissibility

What Your Days Will Look Like
