Job summary

Scottish Federation of Housing Associations is seeking an Income Maximisation Manager to provide operational direction and to lead the debt management and financial support teams. The role focuses on tenancy debt, income maximisation and ensuring value for money through effective performance management.

You will drive service improvements in collaboration with Housing Management, oversee arrears and former tenant debt, and deliver data-driven reports.

• Proven ability to drive service improvements and value for money.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management to Financial Support Officers.
• Lead debt recovery activities and income maximisation across Housing Management.
• Monitor to ensure high standards of performance and customer service.
• Develop and review debt management procedures and strategies.
• Deliver monthly operational reports and quarterly assurance figures.
• Promote a coaching culture and cross-team collaboration.
