Job summary

Heartlands High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help students with SEND participate in lessons and school life. You will act as a key worker for named students, support their learning, behaviour and personal care, and assist with school trip activities.

The role includes updating success passports, attending annual reviews, and promoting safeguarding policies in collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND to be included in class and the wider school community.
• Contribute to learning and motivation of all students.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Ensure students are suitably challenged.
• Meet students' learning, emotional and personal care needs.
• Act as key worker for named students under line manager guidance.
