Job summary

Senploy is helping a welcoming three-form entry primary school in East London recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The school emphasises inclusion and pupil wellbeing, with a strong leadership team and a positive school culture.

You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, provide targeted help for pupils with additional needs, assist with small-group work and interventions, and help maintain a calm, engaging learning environment in collaboration with teachers

Qualifications

• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• A supportive, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow guidance.
• Genuine interest in helping children progress socially and academically.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Provide targeted support for children with additional needs.
• Assist with small-group work, interventions and in-class support.
• Help maintain a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO and support staff.
• Contribute to wider school life and daily routines.
