Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner at EKC Ashford College to provide tailored, one-to-one and group support to students with high levels of need across Entry Level to Level 3, including GCSE English and Maths.

You will support learners with diverse needs, helping them thrive in classroom settings, during work placements, and with personal care or welfare needs. Full training provided in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND and diverse needs.
• Ability to support with personal care and welfare needs.
• Full training provided to develop all elements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support in classroom and workshop settings.
• Help students develop confidence, independence and active engagement in learning.
• Collaborate with lecturers and other support staff to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
• Support students' personal care, mobility and medical/feeding needs where required.
• Receive full training to support all elements of the role.
