Job summary

Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College in Coventry is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to assist in the inclusion of pupils with SEND and other barriers to learning, under the SENDCo. You will support students across Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Physical Disabilities, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

The role includes small-group work, data reporting, and safeguarding in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inclusion / SEND.
• Understanding of students aged 11-19.
• Ability to analyse and report data.
• Administrative skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication, especially in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND and barriers to learning.
• Assist under SENDCo and in intervention sessions.
• Safeguard and promote welfare, follow policies and procedures.
