Job summary

Foxhole Learning Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract until July 2027. The role offers 32.5 hours per week in a supportive TA team, with a focus on safety, wellbeing and active engagement in learning for all pupils.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, contributing to high-quality, individualised pupil support and fostering inclusion and positive relationships within the school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, ideally within a school environment.
• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Calm, consistent and nurturing support to vulnerable pupils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils and staff, ensuring safety, wellbeing and engagement in learning for all pupils.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide high-quality, individualised support.
