Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Workplace Adjustments advisor within the Organisational Development Team. The role leads and coordinates adjustment support across the Trust to ensure colleagues with disabilities can access the support they need to succeed at work.

You will play a vital part in reducing barriers, improving employee experience and fostering an inclusive culture where every individual feels valued, supported and able to reach

Qualifications

• Educated to diploma level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in HR, EDI, occupational health or related field.
• Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and duties to make reasonable adjustments.
• Experience advising managers or employees in a professional setting; handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of guidance to identify and implement reasonable workplace adjustments.
• Provide practical advice to managers and employees to remove barriers for disabled staff.
• Contribute to reducing barriers and improving equity of access and opportunity across the Trust.
