Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Specialist Inclusion Teacher for the Southampton area to support pupils facing barriers to education, including EBSA, SEND and SEMH. You will deliver bespoke learning programmes, work with families and professionals, and help learners rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with salary competitive and dependent on experience. Start ASAP in a specialist provision working with pupils as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Right to Work in the UK is essential.
• DBS check with online update service or willingness to apply.
• Two professional child-related references required.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH.
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke and personalised learning programmes around individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils who faced challenges within mainstream education with a tailored approach.
