Job description

Are you passionate about ensuring every child has the chance to succeed?

Do you excel at breaking down barriers to learning and championing inclusion?

Are you looking for a rewarding, long-term role to start in September 2025?

Randstad Education is proud to be recruiting for a dedicated and skilled Inclusion Support Worker for a long-term, fixed-term contract at a partner primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed inclusion team and make a tangible difference in the lives of children who face multiple challenges in engaging with their education.=

This is a term-time-only role for 32.5 hours per week.

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will be at the heart of the school's mission to support every child. You will be instrumental in ensuring pupils can access their education and will work to raise their standards of attainment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing bespoke individual support plans and strategies for pupils with additional needs.
  • Working creatively with individuals and small groups to overcome barriers to learning, helping to re-engage them in school life.
  • Collaborating effectively with class teachers, families, and external professionals to create a holistic support network for each child.
  • Using specialist resources and a child-centred approach to plan and adjust learning activities as needed.
  • Maintaining clear and professional records to monitor pupil progress against their action plans.
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for improving outcomes for all pupils. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current experience supporting pupils with a range of additional SEND needs, including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, or complex sensory needs.
  • A proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, working constructively as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of child development and how to adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • A patient and caring manner, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviours positively.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A*-C or equivalent) are essential.
What Randstad Education Can Offer You
  • A rewarding long-term role where you can make a significant impact.
  • A competitive salary based on the B1-B3 pay scale (points 4-11).
  • The support of a dedicated specialist consultant.
  • Access to a range of CPD and training opportunities to further your skills.
  • A supportive environment that encourages professional development.

If you are a committed and hard-working individual ready to take on this vital role, we want to hear from you.
