Job summary

Maghull High School is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Inclusion Team. The successful candidate will support students who experience difficulties and work closely with the SENCO to promote positive outcomes across the curriculum.

You will keep accurate records, collaborate with staff, families and partner schools, and contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment for our most vulnerable learners. Previous TA experience is welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in supporting students as a teaching assistant is not essential; the right person to effectively support our young people is.

Responsibilities

• Support students who experience difficulties to achieve positive outcomes across all curriculum and non-curriculum areas.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and Assistant SENCO; keep accurate and detailed records.
• Communicate with students, staff, families and external services and partner schools.
