Job summary

Inspire Education Trust is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for Blue Coat C of E School in Coventry to support pupils with SEND and other barriers to learning under the SENDCo. The role covers cognition and learning, communication, physical disabilities and social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of inclusion / SEND, experience with young people, strong administrative skills including MS Office, and the ability to analyse and

Qualifications

Knowledge of inclusion / SEND requirements.
Good understanding of students aged 11–19.
Ability to analyse and report data.
Excellent communication skills, including working with small groups.
Administrative skills and experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Support students with SEND and other barriers to learning under SENDCo guidance.
Assist across Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Physical Disabilities, and SEMH needs.
Maintain safeguarding and child protection training compliance.
Record and report data on student progress as required.
