Hanson Academy is seeking a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead who will also head the inclusion team. This permanent post involves leading inclusion across the school, ensuring student learning and achievement needs are met while developing the team.

• Lead on all aspects of inclusion.
• Communicate clear purpose and vision to the inclusion team.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the inclusion team.
• Promote a learning environment that supports high expectations.
• Model the vision and values of the academy and Trust, acting on feedback to improve personal performance.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as Deputy DSL.
